Damaris Reads

Past middle aged, semi-retired, Catholic convert (over 19 years since my baptism/confirmation/first communion), I live in the middle of the Sonoran desert, tending animals and land. My days are filled with sunshine, mesquite, creosote, saguaros, coyotes (mostly in the mornings), chickens, cows, knitting, crochet, and books. I'll read almost anything that delights and informs: feminine nature, Catholicism, Western history, US history (I appreciate most historiography except the Marxist deconstruction of history we've suffered through lately), classic and popular literature, as well as poetry and children's literature. I also read a great deal about nutrition and exercise.
